Ok, so we're off to a very shaky start with not only not having updated this for a couple of weeks - but still haven't sent it out to anyone... Must get on FB & gmail tonight!
Spent a wonderful couple of days exploring the delights of Sydney and spending my last couple of days in the country with Erin and Richie. Managed to survive a ride on Erin's scooter (in SYDNEY!) to the doctors for my second last vaccination jab before coming home to find that the cats had captured a bird (hope bird is still fine minus lots of feathers).
The flight to Singapore was fine, had the window seat and watched a beautiful sunset somewhere in WA, plus watched the latest Bond movie, the one about Vicky and someother chick going to Barcelona, Madagascar 2 and most of Marley & Me (damn Qantas took away the headsets 40 min from landing, but considering the movie I was watching, it wasn't really a travisty). There was lots of lightning on our landing which I'm taking as a good omen for not only the trip - but it would have been my birthday back in Oz.
Weather is certainly warm here and once my new camera has finished charging, I'll make my second attempt outside :)
